Special room rates for Conference Participants and their accompanying companions and family members are (and see NOTES below the table).  It is highly recommended that you book your rooms by 9 April 2005, as a limited number of rooms are available at these special rates.  The deadline for booking with these special rates, if rooms are still available, is 7 July 2005.
Note added 15 June:  At this time, the Days Inn Hotel still has rooms available for $79/night. Ask for the "24th International Conference" rate or Arlene. If you have already booked a room at the $89/night, you may change it to the $79 rate at this time. This offer is good until July 30.

NOTE:
The Triple and Quad Occupancy Room Rates are limited in number.  If all of these special rooms are taken, then the hotel will add $20.00 per person, per night.  In other words, under these conditions, the Triple Rate/night would be $119.00, and the Quad Rate/night would be $139.00.  The lowest rates are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

NOTE:  Resort Service Fees (Optional):  A Resort Services Fee is in addition to the above listed rate and will “offered” to all guestrooms utilized.  This fee is an “optional” $8.00 per room, per day, plus applicable taxes. The fee includes: Complimentary admission to our Health Club; Complimentary local calls up to 60 minutes; Late check-out up to 1:00 PM, subject to availability; and In-room safe.  Unless otherwise instructed, the service fee will be “offered” to individual room accounts. The above rate is subject to change.  In other words, if you do not want to be billed for the Resort Service Fees, you must inform the front desk in advance.

Please note that when making the reservation, you will be charged a deposit (one night room cost plus tax), which  is fully refundable up to 5 days before arrival.

Please note that the special room rates are reserved for Conference Participants and their accompanying companions, so if your reservation cannot be linked to a Registered Participant of the Conference, then your reservation will not be held.

Alternative Hotel Accommodations:

All Conference Participants and their accompanying companions are strongly encouraged to stay at the Hilton in the Disney World Resort as the special room rates represent a significant reduction of the standard room rates for this class of hotel.

Nevertheless, some participants may wish to book with alternative hotels, and there are approximately 12 hotels within 1.5 miles of the Conference Hotel.  Participants who wish to make alternative housing arrangements must provide their own transportation to and from the Conference Hotel where the Conference Program will be presented.

The Days Inn Hotel Downtown Disney is an easy, approximately 1 mile walk to the Conference Hotel via sidewalks.  Since rain showers are common at unexpected times, participants are encouraged to carry an umbrella or poncho.  Presently, this hotel is listing rooms for $79.00 + tax per night for occupancy up to 4 adults.  Please note that these rates are subject to change and are also subject to additional fees.  Please contact the hotel for specific rates.
