Week 01:    Aug. 23    Introduction of Course.  Ch. 3. 
                                    Extra-credit #1 (5 points): One double-spaced page describing why you are taking this course.
                                    Describe how you think this course will benefit you in your pursuit of your degree.
                                    Due at the start of class on Friday, Aug. 27.  No late papers accepted.
                    Aug. 25    Ch. 3.  H-ITT TEST 1.
                    Aug. 27    Extra-credit #1 due at the start of class.  Ch. 3 and Ch. 4.  H-ITT TEST 2.
                                   Demo: Feather and Penny.  Demo:  Car on Track, velocity and acceleration.

Week 02:    Aug. 30    Ch. 4 and 5.  H-ITT System for points begins.
                                   Demo:  1,4,9,... Drop.  1D toss/drop.
                    Sep. 01    Ch. 5.  Finish 1D toss/drop.  2D projectile. 
                                    Demo:  "Monkey catches ball".  Demo:  Ball launch on cart. 

                    Sep. 03    No Class due to weather.

Week 03:    Sep. 06    No class, Labor Day.

                    Sep. 08   
Finish Home Run example.  Ch. 4,5,7.  Some 2D Force examples.
                    Sep. 10    Ch. 7.

Week 04:    Sep. 13    Ch. 8 Sections 1 and 2.  Putting it all together: Ch. 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 (sec. 1 & 2).

                    Sep. 15    Review for MTE 1.
                    Sep. 17    MTE 1: Ch. 3, 4, 5, 7, 8 (sec. 1 & 2).

Week 05:    Sep. 20    Return MTE 1.  Finish Ch. 8.

                    Sep. 22    Ch. 6.
                    Sep. 24    Ch. 9.

Week 06:    Sep. 27    No Class due to weather.
                    Sep. 29   
GatorCan Nationals (5 pt. Extra Credit if you bring a can to race).  Ch. 9 and 10.
