The “official” textbook, which is required, is "Introduction to Electrodynamics (4th Edition)"
(Prentice Hall, 4th edition) by D. J. Griffiths, as stated on the official UF site about the textbook (here).
In the recent past (2011-2012, see above) and distant past (< 2001), I used the 3rd and 2nd editions, respectively.
Students who wish to avoid purchasing the 4th edition may use the 3rd edition which is available for about 1/10th
of the price of the 4th edition.
