The “official” textbook, which is required, is "Introduction to Electrodynamics (4th Edition)"
(Cambridge University Press, 4th edition) by D. J. Griffiths. In the recent past (2011-2012, see above),
I used the 3rd edition.Students who wish to avoid purchasing the 4th edition may use the 3rd edition,
which is available for about 1/10th of the price of the 4th edition.
