DISCOVERING PHYSICS

Spring 2009


Tests

You must bring writing instruments and a UF ID card with a photo for all tests and the final. All necessary paper will be provided, and calculators will not be necessary, but are allowed. You can bring one handwritten 8 1/2" x 11" formula sheet with anything written on one side. No printed materials. Cell phones should be turned off and kept out of sight. The exams will generally cover material from the lectures (including demonstrations) in a manner similar to the homework problems.

Practice test

An excellent collection of practice tests given in previous years can be found on a web page of Prof. Hirschfeld   and on web pages of Prof. Peterson.

You can also look at the tests given by me: test 1 (for this test I have only master version, in which all first answers are correct), test 2 , test 3 , final (these are links to randomized practice versions, answers can be found here:  test 2 , test 3 , final ).  Randomized versions of other old tests will be dsitributed in class before exams for aditional practice.
