Summer Research Program:
Research Experiences for Undergraduates
Under-Represented Groups
The University of Florida Physics REU and the National Science Foundation
are particularly interested in increasing the participation in research of
|
women;
|
|
members of those racial and ethnic groups under-represented in science and
engineering:
Native Americans (American Indians and Alaskan Natives), Blacks (African
Americans), Native Pacific Islanders (Polynesians or Micronesians), and
Hispanics;
|
|
persons with disabilities.
|
Students belonging to any of these groups are strongly encouraged to
apply to the REU program.
We are committed to providing a supportive and productive environment for
participants of all backgrounds.
If you have any questions, please contact
Selman Hershfield.
