Preliminary Exams

Preliminary Exams Fall 2013 will be given on August 19 and 20 at 9 am-noon and 2 pm-5 pm in 1002 NPB. Please find below the order in which the exam problems will be presented in the exam. There will be four 3 hour sessions: A: Quantum, E&M, Classical mechanics. B. Quantum, E&M, Statistical mechanics. C. Quantum, E&M, Classical mechanics. D. Statistical mechanics, Other, Other.

Please bring pencils, calculators, and standard math tables (if you think you will need them). If you have any questions, please contact Prof. Sergei Obukhov, sergei@phys.ufl.edu. Results of the Prelim Exam are expected to be known shortly thereafter.
