  1. Each faculty member who mentors undergraduate students should inform Deborah Etchenique (etcheniq@phys.ufl.edu) before the drop/add period of each semester.
  2. Once reported, the student will be enrolled in PHY4911 with 0 credit without additional tuition.
  3. The number of credits can be increased up to 3 per semester but less than 12 in total for each student.  The number of credits should be approved by the mentor.  Any non-zero credit hours will cost additional tuition.
  4. Physics will phase out the research credits for Individual Work PHY4905.  PHY4905 will be used only for Physics elective courses.
  5. In case of adding or dropping this course after Drop/Add, the late fee will be waived.
  6. Students can specifically request the S/U option rather than the letter grade option.
  7. S/U option petition form can be found here. Deadline is Friday 9/6/13.
