- Each
faculty member who mentors undergraduate students should inform Deborah
Etchenique (etcheniq@phys.ufl.edu)
before the drop/add period of each semester.
- Once
reported, the student will be enrolled in PHY4911 with 0 credit without
additional tuition.
- The
number of credits can be increased up to 3 per semester but less than
12 in total for each student. The number of credits should be
approved by the mentor. Any non-zero credit hours will cost
additional tuition.
- Physics
will phase out the research credits for Individual Work
PHY4905. PHY4905 will be used only for Physics elective
courses.
- In
case of adding or dropping this course after Drop/Add, the late fee
will be waived.
- Students
can specifically request the S/U option rather than the letter grade
option.
- S/U
