Grades: The best two exam scores from the three mid-term exams (30 points each)  plus the score of the final exam (40 points) will determine your overall score for the course. Additional bonus points (4 max.) can be obtained from your score in answering quizzes.

Letter grades will be assigned by slightly curving the overall scores. The grade ranges vary slightly from semester to semester, but the following is typical:

≥92	A	≥58	B-	≥38	D+
≥83	A-	≥52	C+	≥35	D
≥70	B+	≥45	C	≥32	D-
≥64	B	≥42	C-	<32	E
