Friday, August 5 Your final exam scores and final course grades have been posted on E-learning. The exam problems and solutions have been posted there as well. The average of the final exam is 9.00/15. Your course grade is calculated as follows:
(Sum of the best two midterm scores + Final exam scores)∗(75/45)
+ Clicker Scores ∗(25/100)
Cutoffs have been slightly shifted downward. Check the table in the syllabus(HTML). If you find any errors or inaccuracy in your grade, please let me know by 5:00pm on Saturday, August 6. I will finalize the grade Saturday evening and post it on ISIS. Have a great summer!
Wednesday, August 3 This week's clicker quizzes have been posted on E-learning. Your clicker quiz scores have also been posted on E-learning. Please check your score and make it sure that it is correct. If it needs correction, let me know it by Friday. The scores are out of 100 after dropping 10 %. (Note we had the maximum score of 111, and 90 % of 111 is 100.)
Friday, July 29 Homework problems and solutions in chapter 28 have been posted. Clicker quizzes in chapter 28 are available on E-learning.
Final exam is scheduled for Friday, August 5. You are allowed to bring three pieces of formula sheets. I will choose 5 problems from three midterms, 5 problems from homework assignments and 5 problems from lectures. I will be having extra office hours 4-6pm on Wednesday, August 3 and 4-6pm on Thursday, August 4th. Good luck!

Friday, July 1 Your exam scores and estimated course grades have been posted on E-learning. The raw average is 5.03/15. It is unpectedly low and I adjusted your scores upward by 3 points. (Hence the average is 8.03.) Cutoffs have been also slightly shifted. Check the table in the syllabus(HTML). Your estimated course grade was calculated as follows:
Sum of the two exams scores ∗(75/30) + Clicker Scores ∗(25/90)
Exam problems and solutions are also available on E-learning. Please check it and review the exam problems properly. You still have two exams and good chance to improve your grade.

Friday, June 3 Exam 1 scores are posted on E-Learning. Log in Sakai system and then go to Gradebook. The score is graded out of 15 and the average is 9.00/15. Exam problems and solutions are posted on E-Learning as well, select Resource from the left menubar.
Wednesday, June 1 Exam 1 will be administered on Friday, June 3 in NPB 1002 (our regular classroom). You need bring pencils, an eraser, a calculator and UFID. Scratch papers will be provided. You can use a hand-written formula sheet. I am having extended office hours this week: 11:00am – 12:00pm & 5:00 – 6:00pm on Wednesday, July 1 and 5:00 – 7:00pm on Thursday, July 2. Good luck!
