Exam, Quiz, and final grade points uploaded
Your final quiz score has been uploaded to Canvas, including a small normalization across discussion leaders to ensure a uniform average. The overall exam grade also has been uploaded based on your three exams. Your final total grade was computed based on these scores along with the homework, HITT, and extra credit points. See "Projected Grade" or "Overall" in the Canvas gradebook. |

Final Exam raw scores uploaded
Your final exam (exam 3) scores have been uploaded to Canvas. As a reminder, your score is out of a possible 20 correct questions. The average for this exam is 12.0 out of 20. The distribution of scores is here. The exam is worth 25 grade points, so multiply your raw score by 1.25 to get the grade points you earned. The answer key for the master exam has been uploaded to Canvas under the "Files" tab in the subfolder "Exam Solutions". The first answer listed in the answer key is the correct one. There are several problems with multiple versions, so the exam key lists 24 questions while your test would have had 20 questions.
The answers you selected on the master key, as indexed by your exam code, is posted as a file also in the same directory: "Exam 3 Answers Selected By Exam Code.pdf". A "1" means you selected the correct answer on the key, any other number is which incorrect answer you selected on the master key. (Note that the order of questions is listed by the order on the master exam, not for your particular test code). A dash "-" means that your exam did not have that specific version of a question. |

Feb.14 |
REVISED: Exam 1 raw scores re-uploaded
Your exam 1 scores have been re-uploaded to Canvas after a regrading of two problems. Since many students interpreted that a mass "resting" on an inclined plane was at "rest" (it was only meant that it was on the plane), the subject of Questions 19 and 20 on the master key, we gave credit if you assumed it was moving as intended and got the kinetic friction and acceleration correct, or assumed it was at rest and correctly got the force of static friction and marked a=0 for the other question. So two answers were allowed to be correct on both problems, and your score was (possibly) updated if you happened to have assumed the resting scenario and marked the alternative answers. As a reminder, your score is out of a possible 20 correct questions. The average for this exam is now 14.9 out of 20. The distribution of scores is here. The exam is worth 25 grade points, so multiply your raw score by 1.25 to get the grade points you earned. The answer key for the master exam and worked out solutions have been uploaded to Canvas under the "Files" tab in the subfolder "Exam Solutions". The first answer listed in the answer key is the correct one. There are several problems with multiple versions, so the exam key lists 24 questions while your test would have had 20 questions.
The answers you selected on the master key, as indexed by your exam code, is posted as a file also in the same directory: "Exam 1 Answers Selected By Exam Code.pdf". A "1" means you selected the correct answer, any other number is which incorrect answer you selected on the master key. A dash "-" means that your exam did not have that specific version of a question. |
