There is no rounding to the nearest whole integer, for example, as we keep the fractional part as well. |

The 2013 Nobel prize in Physics was awarded to the theorists who developed a mechanism that allows the particles that comprise matter to have mass: Francois Englert and Peter Higgs. This prediction was finally confirmed after nearly 50 years of searching on July 4, 2012 by the ATLAS and CMS experiments at the Large Hadron Collider in Europe. UF is one of the largest university groups on CMS, and the plot shown by the Nobel Committee was made by CMS. More info on http://www.nobelprize.org. |
