Office hours will continue as usual next week so please make use of them in studying for the final. In particular note that the faculty have office hours on Thurday 7th-8th period (Hershfield), Friday 7th period (Acosta), Friday 8th period (Rinzler). These hours can be used for specific questions or for reviews of select chapters.

On Monday March 23 Prof. Acosta's office hours will be moved earlier to 12:45-1:30PM, which is directly after the second lecture.

On March 16 and 20 Prof. Rinzler will take Prof. Acosta's office hour, and on March 30 Prof. Acosta will take Prof. Rinzler's office hour.

The next quiz will be the week after Spring Break starting on Tuesday, March 17. This quiz is on Chapter 29 (HW7) as described under Grading policy. There will not be a quiz on HW8, which due the Monday after Spring Break (March 16).

A student left a textbook in Prof. Hershfield's office. Please come by the office to pick it up.

The units on 25-60 are Coulombs. For some reason Wiley Plus is not accepting micro-Coulombs, which should also be accepatable.

Solutions to the homework are posted to Wiley Plus. Go to Read, Study, Practice, and select any chapter. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you will find Instructor Provided. The solutions are posted there shortly after the due time for this first assignment and for the rest.

Some local bookstores are charging much more than $60 for the textbook for this course. If you have bought from one of these bookstores, please return your book and buy one from another store.

The viewgraphs from both the summary of the course administration and an introduction to Chapter 21 are provided here in pdf format: Lecture 1, Part 1 and Lecture 1, Part 2. In the future lecture material from Prof. Rinzler will be provided on the E-learning site, which we will provide a link to when the material is available.
