Schedule

The schedule of lectures, quizzes, exams as well as due dates for the homework assignments are given in the table below.

(K) and (R) indicate that the lectures on those days are given by Prof. Korytov and Prof. Rinzler, respectively.

The two midterm exams are from 8:20 pm -- 10:10 pm (Feb 12 and Mar 25). The final exam is from 3:00 -- 5:00 pm (Saturday, April 25). Exam 1 covers Chapters 21-26. Exam 2 covers Chapters 27-31. The Final Exam is cumulative (about half of the problems will be on the new material). The exam room assignments will be done alphabetically using your last names; the assignments will be announced on the course web site prior to the exams.

We will offer three voluntary reviews before the exams; the time and place of the reviews will be announced on the course web site a few days before the reviews takes place (the current dates in the table are tentative).
