in two versions of the "skier being towed up a slope by a towrope" problem. All three versions should have had

Normalization of the Quiz Scores: At the end of the semester we will compute the overall average quiz score for each of the PHY2053 TA's.
We will make no change to the quiz grades for those students in the classes of the TA with the highest average. We will add "bonus" quiz points to all
the other students in such a way as to make all the averages the same as the TA with the highest average. However, if doing so gives you
more than 20 points for your overall quiz grade, then you will only get the full 20 points.

Cumulative Make-Up Exam: The PHY 2053 Make-Up Exam is 5:10pm-7:00pm on Wednesday April 24 in Room 1220 NPB.
It is for anyone who had to miss an exam during the semester. You cannot take the make-up exam to improve a grade on a previous
exam. You have to have missed an exam with a valid reason. The breakdown of the questions on the cumulative make-up exam
is similar to the final exam and you are allowed two crib sheets.

Last Day of Class: In class on Tuesday April 23 we will discuss the organization of the course and you will be asked
4 HITT questions about the course. If you come to class and answer the 4 questions you will
get 8 extra HITT points which should increase your overall HITT bonus points for the course. However, the maximum HITT bonus points
is still 5 points.

Comprehensive Review: The PHY2053 Comprehensive Review will be conducted by Professor Field on
Sunday April 21 2:00pm-4:00pm in 1002 NPB. Previous exam problems will be studied in detail.

Breakdown of Final Exam Problems: The PHY2053 Final Exam will have 4 problems
from your Exam 1 (changed slightly but same concept) and 4 problems from your Exam 2
(changed slightly but same concept). The answers to these problems may not be the exact same formula,
but if you understand how to do your Exam 1 and Exam 2 problems you will be able to do these problems.
The final exam will also have 4 problems from the new material
(Chapter 11.1-12.8) and it will have 8 new cumulative problems (Chapter 1.1-10.8)
for a total of 20 problems as follows:

Your WebAssign HW Points (max = 20 points) includes the first 9 assignments and
assumes that you get the same average on all your remaining homework assignments that you have for the first 9 assignments.
Your HITT Bonus points (max = 5 points) are based on your HITT scores through 3/28/13.
Your Total Points (max = 100 points) are the sum of your Quiz Points, your HW Points, your Exam Points,

Students with Disabilities: Students requesting classroom accommodation for disabilities must
first register with the Dean of Students Office. The Dean of Students Office will provide documentation
to the student who must then provide this documentation to the instructor (Field or Rinzler) when requesting accommodation.
Then you must print out the PHY2053 Accommodated Test Request (ATR) Form for Spring 2013
(click here for the form).
This form must be filled out by the student and returned to the Disability Reseource Center (DCR) at least
one week before the first exam. The Accommodated Testing Service (ATS) at DCR
