HITT transmitters: Please register your transmitter using the instructions at the HITT registration and information page. We prefer that you use the RF-type transmitter. Remember that if you register for a particular period (4th period or 5th period) your HITT points will only be accumulated for that period. If you use the transmitter during the other period, the points will not be recorded.

WebAssign: WebAssign is the online homework system. To register for WebAssign, you must be already entered into the class roster for this course AND you need a WebAssign "access code". If you have purchased the book at the UF bookstore, the WebAssign card is in an envelope inside the plastic packaging and has the access code. If you have an old textbook, you can buy it on-line for $25.00 using a credit card.

We uploaded the class list from the registrar's office to WebAssign before the first class. Therefore, if you were registered for class at that time your name should be on the WebAssign roster. You login name for WebAssign is your UF-ID, including leading zeroes (do not use a hyphen). Your password is also set to exactly the same UFID. Your institution is ufl. Once you have entered the system, you should change the password! If you cannot login (which might be because WebAssign "remembers" you from a previous course), click on the "forgot password" link to send a new password to your GatorLink email address.

If you are not on the roster or have tried all the ideas above and still cannot login, send e-mail, using your gatorlink account, to phy2054 AT phys.ufl.edu and we will try and see what is wrong. Because of the large number of students in the class, contact us only after you have tried the suggestions in the previous paragraphs.

When you enter the WebAssign site, it asks for your access code. You can try it for one week without registering, but after that grace period access will be blocked.

Here is the WebAssign login page.
