The homework problems in the Connect online system are due weekly on Monday at 10:00PM. All homework must be completed by 10:00PM on the due date. No exceptions allowed. It is your responsibility to get your homework in on time. Last minute problems with your computer/local server or Connect server will not excuse you from this responsibility given the fact that the homework can be started many days in advance. So it is wise to start working on the HW assignments early and turn in answers steadily, rather than all on the last day. Answers can be entered individually. Once the due date/time has passed no further input of answers for credit will be accepted.

Accessing the Connect homework system (very important)

• To access the Connect online homework system you must enter through the course Canvas e-Learning web page. Otherwise, your points will not be transferred to our grading system.
• Follow these pdf directions to register in Connect and to access it afterwards.

Homework Problems

• The problems come from your textbook. However, the values of variables used in online problems are different for each student.
• You will have five tries (when multiple attempts are available on Connect) to get the correct answer. Your answer must be correct within 2% and have a correct sign to receive credit. To avoid losing precision, do not round off numbers in intermediate steps of your calculations
• You can only submit assignment once, so make sure you complete the assignment before submiting it.
