Textbook:
Physics, Volume 2 (5th Ed): Halliday, Resnick and Krane (John Wiley and Sons, Inc.)
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Here are the solutions to the final exam. If you wish to know all of your grading details (test scores, homework scores, totals and final grade) please email me. Also, email me if you wish to pick up your final exam, and I will give you times when I will be in my office over the holiday. Otherwise, you may pick up your final anytime after the start of the next semester.
Your final grade will be based upon SCORE = T1+T2+T3+T4+50*HW/hwMax. T1, .. T4 are the scores of the four tests, each has a maximum of 50 points. 50*HW/hwmax is the sum of all of your homework scores normalized to a maximum of 50 points. After
homework set #9, hwMax is 192. The maximum possible value for SCORE is 250 points.
grade at least A if SCORE >= 200
grade at least B if SCORE >= 160
grade at least C if SCORE >= 120
I am likely also to give plus grades, but I won't know their cutoffs until the end of the semester.
Here are the solutions to the first, second and third test and to the final exam.
