Homework Assignments

Homework is due at the beginning of class. At that time, you may request a no-cost extension until 5:00pm of the same day. Any homework submitted after 5:00pm and before 5:00pm of the following day will be graded at half-credit. No homework will be accepted past this second 5:00pm deadline.

The assignments below are accurate at least for the next week. But, they are generally tentative and likely to change.

 2 Wed 1/17 Set 2 problems, solutions and notes. Read the rest of Chapter 1.
 3 Wed 1/24 Set 3 problems and solutions. Read sections 2.1 and 2.2 and Re-read Chapter 1
 4 Wed 1/31 Set 4 problems and solutions. Read all of Chapter 2.
 5 Wed 2/7 Set 5 problems and solutions. Read all of Chapter 2 and the beginning of Chapter 3.
 6 Wed 2/14 Set 6 problems and solutions to help prepare for the 1st test.
 6 Wed 2/14 Answers for the first test: short answer and multiple choice, the first choice is correct.
 7 Wed 2/21 Set 7 problems and solutions. Read all of Chapter 3.
 8 Wed 2/28 Set 8 problems and solutions. Read all of Chapter 4.
 9 Wed 3/07 Set 9 problems and solutions. Finish reading Chapter 4.
 10 Spring break Carefully read Chapter 5, sections 4,5,6, and 7. Read Chapter 6 lightly.
 10 Wed 3/21 Set 10 problems and solutions. Read Chapter 6 thoroughly.
 11 Wed 3/28 Set 11 problems and solutions. Read Chapter 6, sections 6.3-6.6.
 12 Wed 4/04 Set 12 problems and solutions, to help prepare for the 2nd test.
 12 Wed 4/04 Answers for the second test: short answer and multiple choice, the first choice is correct.
 13 Wed 4/11 No homework to be handed in. Please read sections 4, 5 and 6 in Chapter 6.
