Classical Mechanics I - Spring 2010

Homework Assignments:
Careful attention to homework is strongly suggested.

Please take a look at the Math self-assessment. This describes the expected level of mathematical sophistication for this course.

The weekly reading assignment is important, likely to be necessary for solving the problems and should be completed by the due date. Reading physics is not easy—multiple passes over the same sections is usually necessary for understanding the material. Don't read physics in bed unless you are trying to cure insomnia. Read physics at a desk with a paper and pencil at hand.

The homework is graded on a scale of 0 to 4 points on every problem.

The homework is always due on a Wednesday.

Neatness is not particularly important—unless you want to be given credit for your effort.
