PHY4802L - LABORATORY ELECTRONICS - FALL 2016

We have three sources of information:

  • The experimental instructions will be made available by the instructors during lectures.
  • The textbook: Basic Electronics for scientists and engineers
  • Horowitz & Hill is always a great source.

The experimental instructions do not cover any background material. The textbook provides the background information while the student manual is a mixture between theory and experimental instructions. Reading assignments can be found in the schedule online.

This schedule is preliminary and subject to change.
  • Labreport I covers the materials from Chapters 2 and 3.
  • Labreport II covers the materials from chapters 4 and 5.
  • Labreport III covers the materials from chapters 6 and 7.
  • Labreport IV covers the materials from chapters 8.
Lab reports should have a length of 6 to 8 pages.
