A type of fuel is placed inside a gallon milk jug and allowed to evaporate. The jug is placed on its side and the lid is removed. Place a match at the opening and the rocket will ignite. (Make sure no one is standing behind the rocket since flames will shoot out at least two feet from the jug). This experiment clearly shows action and reaction and conservation of momentum.
