This is a complete ripple tank setup with a motor that can be adjusted to change the amplitude and the phase of the water waves. Attached next to the light source is also a digital stroboscope so that the waves motion may be frozen in time for viewing. This experiment comes with an assortment of shapes for viewing things such as reflection, refraction and lenses. Instructors need to familarize themselves with the apparatus before using in class and it must be used in a dark room.
