This experiment uses a bar magnet, a coil of wire and two oppositely mounted diodes mounted in parallel to the coil to detect the voltage induced viaLenz's law. Since diodes pass current in only one direction, when the magnet is quickly moved through the coil current is generated and one of the LED'slights up. When the magnet is pulled back out of the coil, current is inducedin t he opposite direction and the opposite LED lights up indicating the direction of the induced current.
