Bottom view of the top flange assembly. These two flanges will close the cryostat and the inner detector can, respectively. They are interconnected by "supply tubes" that are welded into both flanges and can be terminated on the top side (not shown in the picture) by "conflat" flanges. Through these tubes supplies, such as high voltage or Xe gas, can be fed into the inner detector as well as signals from e.g. the photomultipliers extracted out of the cryostat. Attached to the bottom of the inner detector flange, one can see the interface which the inner detector teflon structure will be mounted on.
