The GCGM is a regional meeting that brings together researchers in all areas of gravitational physics from the southeast region of the US. Even if you are not from this region, you are still welcome! The past two editions were at Florida Atlantic University (GCGM6, 2011) and the University of Mississippi (GCGM7, 2013). Following the tradition for these regional meetings, GCGM8 will consist of contributed talks in an informal atmosphere, with time for discussion. Students are especially encouraged to participate and give talks. The Blue Apple Award, sponsored by the APS Topical Group in Gravitation, will be awarded to the best student presentation.

There is no registration fee. You can register online using the registration form and submit an abstract using the abstract submission form; if you are a student, please indicate if you could use travel support. We have obtained financial support from various sources, and we will divide the available amount (which is quite limited!) between all students who request it; if funds are still available we may be able to provide partial support also for postdocs.
