Sakai prelab quizzes:

Sakai will only be used for grade reporting and for the prelab quizzes (prelabs).  Instructors may use other Sakai tools at their discretion.  There is no prelab for the First Day Activity which starts the week of August 26.  The first prelabs will be for experiment BA Force Table (for the first semester lab courses) and experiment NC Electrostatics (for the second semester lab courses).  These experiments begin the week of September 3.  In case there are problems and to handle other beginning-of-the-semester problems, the prelabs for this first experiment will be available for one extra week, at which time prelabs for both that experiment and the following week's experiment: AM Position and Velocity (first semester labs) and NA Electric Fields and Equipotentials (second semester labs) will be due.  Thus, while they should be available sooner, no prelabs will be due until the week starting September 10.

In Sakai, the prelabs can be found in the Tests & Quizzes area and are labeled by the two letter code for the experiment.  Grades are available in the Gradebook area.

Make sure you are properly registered in your physics lab course and section.  Enrollment in Sakai sections is automatic and based on registration information.  Sakai logon is through your GatorLink username and password.  If you are having problems after you are properly registered, see Mr. Parks or Dr. DeSerio (contact infomation below).
