UF's Emergency Notification Program
To receive text messages in the event of an emergency on the University of Florida campus, go to MyUFL and sign on with your gatorlink name and password. Using the left-hand navigation system, go into My Account > Update Emergency Contact. You may enter your cell phone number here. If necessary, UF will use this number to send a text message to you. NOTE: You must have text messaging on your phone to get the message. The campus has over 50,000 subscribers, mostly students, but staff and faculty may also participate.
