John Klauder Retires

John Klauder joined UF in 1988 after 35 years at Bell Telephone Labs. As a specialist in mathematical physics, he enjoyed a joint appointment in both the UF Math. and Physics Departments. During his 22 years at UF, his research interests ranged from signal processing to fundamental issues in quantum theory, including novel approaches to the quantization of constrained systems as well as to quantum gravity. While at UF he also published two books: "Beyond Conventional Quantization" and "A Modern Approach to Functional Integration".
