Abstracts and Proceedings
Desired are "Extended abstracts", meaning at least 3 but not more than 4 pages including an abstract (of the abstract), text, and references. The abstracts will be published as an AIP (American Institute of Physics) Conference Proceedings, and should be prepared in accordance with AIP's instructions for 8.5 x 11 inch single-column format:http://www.iccmse.org/docs/8x11singleinst.pdf
This document includes links to both Microsoft Word templates and LaTeX style files.
Your abstract will need to include keywords and PACS (physics subject classification) codes.
Abstracts should be submitted to the Symposium organizers (despite some information to the contrary on the ICCMSE web site) in a final form consistent with the AIP instructions. They should be sent by e-mail (preferably as a .tex or .doc attachment) to harris@qtp.ufl.edu. Since the abstract book (Proceedings) will be printed prior to the Symposium, the firm deadline for abstracts to be included in the proceedings is
June 30, 2007.
As indicated above, an "extended abstract" is actually a short paper, consisting of a title block (title, authors, affiliations), an abstract, text (with figures and /or tables if needed), and bibliographic references, and should be prepared with the care that is expected for a professional publication.
