Oscillations and AC Circuits
Online lecture videos recorded by Prof. Darin Acosta

Note: We won't be using the concept of phasors in these lectures. Rather we will rely on graphs of trigonometric functions versus time to explain concepts of leading or lagging (i.e. what you might see on an oscilloscope trace).
- LC Circuits
- Lecture (20:48)
- Discussion of the solutions for the current and charge in an LC circuit, which oscillate sinusoidally, and the conservation of energy in such a circuit
- RLC Circuits and Damped Oscillations
- Lecture (13:55)
- Discussion and graphing of the solution for the charge on a capacitor in an RLC circuit, which undergoes damped harmonic oscillation
- Alternating Current
- Lecture (6:48)
- Concept of alternating current and EMF, with demonstration
