• Scattering rate is independent of resolving power of incoming electron

  • Quark are fundamental (Bjorken Scaling)

• Total scattering rate consistent with spin 1/2 quarks

  • Callan-Gross relation

• But momentum fraction carried by a quark is not 1/3
