Welcome to PHZ4390! This is a new incarnation of the web site, and material is still being added. I would appreciate links to online material such as explanations, interesting problems, new measurements, interactive material or anything else you believe would enhance the course experience. I will use this page to make course announcements, including guest lectures, exam schedules, holidays, research project milestones and occasional nxews from the world of particle physics.

Schedule: Please see the schedule page for lecture topics, readings, programming tutorials, homework and bonus problems.

Texbook: There are one primary textbook, Martin & Shaw, 3rd edition. I am also providing free of charge two other small books for background, described in the overview page.

Programming languages: We will be using the languages wxMaxima and Python in this course for calculations and graphs, some of which will be turned in as homework. I have created or linked several tutorials for these languages that are described on the programming page. That page will be updated.
