These comments refer to fptex which is free tex for windows 32 bit machines. The needed information is at

I investigated the system and found that tex exam, or clicking on the exam icon, produces a dvi file. Clicking on this icon allows one to view the file. Print to a deskjet, does not work from this viewer. The command dvips exam produces exam.ps. Clicking on this with ghostview -- directions for which are also at the above site -- installed produces a file that can be printed to my deskjet and presumably to any installed printer. In addition:
Found that LTX2RTF does convert a tex file to an rtf file (without the pictures).
Found that JPEG2PS does convert a jpeg picture to a ps file for inclusion in a tex document.
Found that Tex4ht and t4ht convert a dvi file into an html document, but not as accurately in terms of paragraphs and spacings as the ltx2rtf converts a latex document.
The dvilj* and dvihp codes produce pcl output for the H.P. laser printer. Note that dvicopy will have to be run first. The reference is in the installed tex at
