Install Watcom.

Go to Watcom\binnt

Click on fbooks.hlp

Go to the Fortran 77 language reference

Then go to “Names data types …” and click on it

Then click on “introduction”. This opens a help file. The >> in the heading moves to new pages. Double precision constants are described on about the 4^th page.
