Q: I tried logging in to WebAssign with my gatorlink username and assigned password, but it did not work. What am I doing wrong?
A1: It is possible you are using the wrong password. We do not know your gatorlink passwords (they are private). Thus, you should use the last five digits of your UFID plus four zeros (no spaces or dashes).

A2: Are 'cookies' enabled in your browser? WebAssign cannot communicate with your computer if 'cookies' are disabled.

Q: What do I enter under "Institution" in the WebAssign login page?
A: "ufl". 

Q: I already purchased the textbook, but did not purchase a WebAssign registration card with the book. How can I get one?
A: You do not need one. I registered you.

Q: I have an older edition of the text book. Can I get by with this?
A: While there are many similarities between the recent editions, there are also important differences, e.g. chapter numbers and the ordering of material has changed. More importantly, the homework problems are assigned from the 5th edition. 

Q: I'm interested in majoring in physics. Whom should I speak to?
A: Come talk to Dr Hill, or see one of the Physics Department Undergraduate Advisors, or look at the undergraduate material on the departmental home page.
