PHY 2061 - Weekly Homework |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Weekly on-line homework will be assigned, counting 28% towards your final grade. You must enter your solutions via the WebAssign web site (via the main menu). WebAssign gives you instant feedback, i.e. whether your answer is correct or incorrect. You may have up to 10 attempts at a particular problem. Note that the numerical inputs for every student's assignment are different, i.e. each assignment is unique. No homework will be accepted after the deadlines given in the table above. Note that solutions to each assignment will be available shortly after the deadline. Important!! There are two lists of problems above: the ones in the left-hand column are graded and you must enter your solutions through WebAssign; those on the right are suggested additional problems. The additional problems will not be graded, but may be useful when preparing for exams. I will provide links to solutions to all problems after the deadlines have passed. You are welcome, indeed encouraged, to collaborate on the homework assignments. However, you will perform poorly on the tests if you simply copy solutions from your friends without actually learning how to do the problems. There is no excuse for not getting close to 100% on the homework assignments. |
