The announcements below are listed in reverse chronological order.

Dec 14 Course grades have been submitted to the Registrar. You should shortly be able to obtain your grade through ISIS. You can also find out your grade by coming to NPB 2162 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday, December 15. (To maintain confidentiality of student records, grades will not be disclosed by telephone or e-mail.)
Dec 14 The final has been graded and will be available for pick-up from NPB 2162 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday, December 15. (Exams may also be picked up next week or after the winter break.)
Dec 6 Office hours: Kevin Ingersent will be available Friday and Monday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., and Tuesday 9:00 a.m.–noon. (There will be no office hour on Thursday, contrary to the announcement made in class on Tuesday.)
Dec 5 There will be a review session on Thursday, starting at 9:30 a.m. in BPB 1002. Please be prepared with topics you would like help on or problems you would like to go over.
Dec 5 The final exam will take place in NPB 1002 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12. See this announcement for more details, and this list of topics covered in the course.
Nov 30 Homework 12 is now open. It is due at noon on Monday, December 11.
Nov 28 Information about the final exam will be presented in class on Tuesday, December 5. You will be provided with a list of your scores on Homeworks 1–11 and Exams 1–3, which you would be well-advised to check against your own records. To provide light relief ahead of finals, Kevin Ingersent will have a cinder block crushed on his chest with a sledge hammer, while sandwiched between two beds of nails.

Nov 7 Homework 10 is now open. It is due at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14.
Oct 31 Homework 9 is now open. It is due at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7.

Oct 19 Kevin Ingersent will be out of town October 23–27. His office hours are canceled for the week. Class will be taught by David Tanner (Tuesday) and Prof. John Yelton (Thursday).
Oct 17 Kevin Ingersent will hold extended office hours: 10:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17; and 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18.

Sep 26 Homework 5 is now open. It is due at 7 p.m. on Monday, October 2.
Sep 26 Returned Exam 1 and distributed solutions.
Sep 15 Homework 4, question 13 had an error in the CAPA coding. The error was fixed at 1:45 p.m. today. Any open CAPA HW 4 session should be refreshed by clicking on the "reload" button at the top of the page.
Sep 15 Posted updated sample exam questions on special relativity (and their solutions). Question 2 has been replaced by a simpler problem closer to the level of difficulty you should expect on Exam 1.
Sep 14 Posted lecture notes on the kinematics of circular motion and sample exam questions on special relativity.
