The announcements below are listed in reverse chronological order.
May 4 Final grades have been submitted.

You can pick up your final exam or discuss your grade with Kevin Ingersent on Friday, May 5 from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.

May 1 Correction: The review session will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2. Please come to NPB 2162. If sufficient numbers show up, we will move to another room.
Apr 25 There will be a review session on Monday, May 1. The session will be held in NPB 2205. (This room reached from the balconey overlooking the main lobby. The door to 2205 is immediately to the left of the double doors leading to the Physics Dept. main offices.)

The session will be most useful to you if you email Kevin Ingersent in advance (ingersent@phys.ufl.edu) listing topics you would like reviewed or problems you would like help solving.

Apr 25 Office hours on Friday, April 28 have ben shifted to 1:00–4:00 p.m.
Apr 25 Reminder: The final exam will take place in NPB 1002 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3. Please try to arrive by 2:55 p.m. You should bring writing implements, and you may use up to four formula sheets and an electronic calculator. No other papers or electronic devices may be used during the exam.

The exam will consist of 10 questions (in a format similar to Fall 2003 Final Exam and Fall 2005 Final Exam). These questions may address any of the material covered in the course. Approximately half the questions will focus on topics covered since Exam 3 (oscillations, fluids, and special relativity). The remaining questions will address basic principles from earlier topics, particularly those addressed in the first two-thirds of each of the mid-term exams.

Apr 20 Homework 12 opened at noon. The deadline is 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 26, but late homework will be accepted until 7 p.m. on Friday, April 28.
Apr 14 Homework 11 opened at 9 p.m. The deadline is 7 p.m. on Friday, April 21.
Apr 9 Office hours Monday, April 10 will now be 8:15 a.m.–12:30 p.m. and 2:15–4:45 p.m. Apologies for the late change.

Please try to arrive by 10:35 a.m. You should bring writing implements, and you may use three formula sheets and an electronic calculator. No other papers or electronic devices may be used during the exam.

The exam will consist of 10 questions (in a format similar to Fall 2003 Exam 3 and Fall 2005 Exam 3). These questions may address any of the material covered in the course through the end of Chapter 14 of the text.
