Exam 3 — Fall 2007

Exam 3 will take place in NPB 1002 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:25 a.m. on Thursday, November 15. Please try to arrive by 8:25 a.m. You should bring writing implements, and you may use an electronic calculator and as many as three formula sheets. No other papers or electronic devices may be used during the exam.

The exam will consist of 10 questions in a format similar to past semesters' exams (see the exams page for samples). Question 1 will be in multiple-choice format, while the remaining questions will consist of problems requiring a written solution. These questions may address any of the material covered in class through Thursday, November 8. The emphasis will be on material covered since the second exam. These topics are listed below, along with the most closely related sections of the text.
