Dec 6	Distributed Extra-Credit Assignment
Nov 29	Distributed Schedule for the Remainder of the Semester, plus Homework 9 Distributed Information Concerning Final Exam
Nov 27	Distributed Exam 2: The Recount, an optional assignment permitting students to redo some or all quesitons from Exam 2 for additional credit.
Nov 15	Distributed Information Concerning Mid-Term Exam 2.
Nov 13	Exam 2 will be held from 7 to 9 pm on Tuesday, October 17, in 1220 NPB. The exam will focus on course material from Callen Chapters 3 and 4.
Nov 8	Assigned Homework 8.
Nov 1	Distributed revised version of Homework 7 (now due Monday, November 6).
Oct 27	Extended deadline for Homework 6 to Monday, October 30. Assigned Homework 7.
Oct 20	Assigned Homework 6.
Oct 6	Assigned Homework 5. Distributed handouts Hints for Finding Partial Derivatives and Hints for Integrating Differentials. Distributed corrected Example Problems for Diffusional Equilibrium. Distributed Information Concerning Mid-Term Exam 1.
Oct 4	Exam 1 will be held from 7 to 9 pm on Tuesday, October 17, in 1220 NPB. The exam will cover all course material through the end of Callen Chapter 2, with the exception that there will be no question on the statistical interpretation of entropy.
Sep 25	Class cancelled (Kevin Ingersent was stranded in Philadelphia for 3.5 hours). The last turn-in date for Homework 3 has been moved to Friday, September 29. The due date for Homework 4 has been moved to Monday, October 2.
Sep 22	Assigned Homework 4. The office hour on Monday September 25 has been cancelled.
