Dec 20 Posted Final course grades.
Dec 6 Distributed Information sheet and sample questions for the final exam.

The final will be held on Monday, Dec 13 from 8 to 10 pm in NPB 1011. Bring pens or pencils, the course text (Callen), and your lecture notes. No other written materials will be allowed.

Nov 29 Distributed Extra-Credit Assignment (due Dec 16).
Nov 29 Distributed Homework 10 (due Dec 8). Last homework of the semester!
Nov 22 Score distribution on Exam 2 can be viewed as postscript or gif.

Course scores through Homework 8 and Exam 2 are now posted.

Nov 17 Reminder: Exam 2 will be held on Thursday, Nov 18 from 8 to 10 pm in NPB 1011. Bring pens or pencils, the course text (Callen), and your lecture notes. No other written materials will be allowed. The exam will be administered by Mr. Wuming Zhu (NPB 1224, 392-9818, zhuwm@phys.ufl.edu).

Friday's office hour and lecture have been cancelled because Kevin Ingersent will be out of town.

Due to the Thanksgiving break, there will be no class or office hour on Wednesday, Nov 24 or Friday, Nov 26.

Oct 1 Exam 1 will be held on Monday, Oct 11 from 7 to 9 pm in NPB 1011. The exam will cover all course material through the end of Callen Chapter 2. Exception: There will be no questions on the statistical interpretation of entropy.
