Kevin Ingersent will be away from October 28 through November 22. During this period, the course will be taught by Prof. Pierre Sikivie. Prof. Sikivie will announce his office hours, and the arrangments for turning in Homeworks 7 and 8, in class on Monday, October 28.

The second mid-term exam will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday, November 22. Further information will be announced in class on or before Wednesday, November 13.

Sep 23 The deadlines for Homework 4 have been extended to avoid a conflict with the EM exam on September 27. Full credit may be obtained for solutions submitted to Kevin Ingersent (in person or pushed under his office door) by 5 pm on Monday, September 30. Up to 50% credit will be given for solutions submitted no later than 5 pm on Wednesday, October 2.
