Reports and maps of mountain hiking (and climbing) trips
Hiking routes listed below are typically designed as loops taking about 1 week to complete at a moderate pace leaving plenty of time to enjoy the scenery. The hiking routes are set up to stay mostly off the beaten trails to allow for plenty of solitude. If you you want to try any of these hikes, you need to be able to orient yourself in mountains and find the right way, without a good use trail under your feet, along valleys to and, more importantly, over passes. Passes and climbs are usually of class 2 with a few exceptions of easy class 3. Beware: the help in life-threatening emergencies may be far away; you have to rely on your own from the first to the last day. Never hike alone.
