Abstracts
In order to submit an
abstract, the person presenting the work must Enter
Profile Online, and then
follow the appropriate links.
(Note:
Registration fees do not need to be paid at the time that you enter
your profile and submit an abstract.)
When preparing your
abstract for submission, you may wish to review the following
information.
Preparing your abstract for submission (via
the Online
Registration Site)
The abstract must be
submitted online (via the Registration Site) as a LaTeX file, which
must be created using the
template (LTabs.tex).
Authors should closely
follow the instructions given in the template file. Your abstract file
MUST BE named LTabs.tex, and uploaded to the LT24 server via the
Registraion Site. If you want to use your own computer to
test the LaTeX file of your abstract, you will need the LaTeX style file
(LTabs.sty).
If you get a "missing \begin{document}" error from your LaTeX compiler,
read
this instruction.
Other LaTeX errors are discussed in our extensive FAQ page, which can
be accessed
by following the links described above.
If you want to see the maximum abstract size but have no access to
LaTeX, you may download the pdf file created
from the template.
The submission
deadline for the abstracts for contributed papers is 9 April 2005 .
Resubmission before
the deadline overrides the previous submission. The abstract will be
reviewed, and the notification of acceptance/rejection will be sent by
30 April 2005. The contact author will be notified of the scheduled
time
of each presentation before 30 June 2005. By the same date, the
abstracts and the detailed program of each session will be posted LT24 Program
Webpage.

preparing manuscripts may be found at:

the AIP style specifications.
