The
LT24 Conference is supported by
IUPAP, and as a result, the Conference embraces the full access policy
established by IUPAP. At the same time,
access to the Conference must comply with US Visa and travel
regulations.
Visa
and travel regulations are
subject to change, and consequently, the Conference cannot be
responsible for
knowing all of the details of each case. The information on this
page is provided to be helpful, and
details about
specific cases should be discussed with the appropriate agencies.
If
you require a Visa, please
initiate the process well in advance of the Conference, and at least 3
months
is recommended.
Please
understand that the LT24
Conference cannot be directly involved with your Visa
application. The Conference cannot communicate with US
Embassies abroad or the State Department in Washington, DC, on behalf
of any
Participant.
If
you require a “letter
of
invitation” to attend the Conference, you must submit your
request online at this page.
All information must be complete in order for
us to process your
request.
(Note: Registration fees do not need to be paid at the time that you enter your profile and submit an abstract.)
A
hardcopy of your letter will normally be mailed to you
within one week (or less), but your receipt of the letter will depend
upon the delivery time of the mail.
