"Semiclassical methods for the description of tunneling in high-energy collisions" Claudio Rebbi, Boston University I will describe a semiclassical technique for calculating the suppression factor in high-energy processes that occur through tunneling and are characterized by weak coupling and low particle number in the initial state. I will illustrate the computational challenges that one encounters, how they can be overcome, and some results which have been obtained, with particular attention to the problem of baryon number violation in electroweak collisions.
