Announcements:
8/3/10
The final is on Friday, August 6. I'm having extended office hours from 4-6pm on Wednesday, August 4 and 4-6pm on Thursday, August 5. Best of luck!
7/14/10
The homework set on Ch.33 has been postponed. Thus Ch.33 will not on the quiz this week. Focus on homework problems on Ch.31 and 32.
7/12/10
The exam was postponed after all. Sorry for the confusion.
7/9/10
Your second midterm on Monday, July 12. Do not expect that the exam will be postponed to Wendesday and slack up on the weekend. Be prepared for Monday! Prof. Kumar is coming back on Sunday and he didn't mention anything about a postponement of the exam. I'm extending my office hours today (Friday, June 9) from 4pm to 6pm. Good luck!
6/16/10
Focus on hw set #7 (chapter 28, due June 16). I will not choose a quiz problem from chapter 27, for chapter 27 was covered in the last quiz.
6/8/10
Since we didn't have a homework set due July 4, our next quiz (Quiz 3) will be based on Hw #5 (due May 28) only.
6/3/10
You're having your first midterm on Monday, June 7. My office hours this Friday will be extended from 4 to 6pm. Best of luck!
5/20/10
Someone left a laptop in the classroom! I took it to the student service office in the physics building.
5/13/10
The discussion quiz will start next Thursday, May 20th. Do not forget to bring your calculator!
