I am a Postdoc at the
Physics department of the University of Florida,
where I am working with
Prof. Peter Hirschfeld .
My research interests are in the area of:
Strongly correlated electron systems and superconductivity,
in particular the influence of disorder and low dimensionality.
So far I have mainly worked on:
- The effect of modulations in the pair-interaction due to dopant
atoms in cuprate superconductors
- Surface-charging in d-wave superconductors caused by the formation
of surface antiferromagnetism
- The influence of finite range impurity potentials on
transport properties of d-wave superconductors
- Competing electron-phonon and spin-fluctuation interactions in
d-wave superconductors
- The adequacy of spin-wave theory for two-dimensional spin-1/2
antiferromagnets
- The formation of bound states in spin-ladders
- The effect of higher-order spin exchange processes, like a
cyclic four-spin exchange
