Lecture Notes

PHY 2054 - Spring 1999

WebLuis Lecture Notes On-Line  -  Note: WebLuis usually posts the notes 1-3 working days after the lecture.
    Instructions:
    1. Search under "Reitze" as "Instructor"
    2. Select "Reitze, D."  on the new page that appears
    3. Select PHY 2054
    4. Select the lecture of your choice
    5. Click on "Class Notes" link
    6. The lecture notes will appear as a pdf file (Adobe Acrobat Reader)
    7. To view other lectures, see the Note below explaining the correct way to view them.

Note: Many of you have noted that WebLuis has a bug in their software which may cause you to access only one set of lecture notes - i.e., when you try to view others, the WebLuis server keeps serving up the first set you visited. Here's the official word from them about how to avoid this problem:

"If you are using the browser "Back" button to return to the results list, then you will encounter this bug in the system.  After looking at the
first PDF, use the browser "Back" button to return to the record display.  Now, if you use the red arrow to move forward to the next
record and then click on the Class Notes link, you will see the second PDF.  Repeat the process for the 3rd.  If you want to see the Results List
(aka Index Browse), go to the command pulldown at the bottom, display Results List and click on SUBMIT.  We do have a bug in the system at this
time when users rely on the browser "Back" button to navigate the search results instead of using the internal navigation aids.  When you get an
error message in a box at the top of the display, then the system is out of its search state and confused so it keeps returning you to the screen
with the error (e.g., Error: Processing for the command entered was not found.).  You need to click on one of the internal navigation aids (the
red arrows or the commands in the pulldown) to get re-oriented.  You shouldn't have to cancel your search, empty your cache or restart your browser."
